AC 30 Day Challenge: Day 5, Favorite book or movie?
It’s technically about 40 mins. too early for me to do this next day challenge but…oh well.
As for my answer…I haven’t read all of the books yet (working on it) and no movies have been released yet, HOWEVER.
Of the live & animated shorts that I’ve seen, Assassin’s Creed Lineage is my favorite.
I loved getting a bit of back story to the events that unfolded in ACII and it was great seeing Giovanni Auditore be a badass assassin. On top of all of that, the fact that they went with the live action route and used most of the actual face/voice actors for the roles was astounding to me. I love watching the whole thing over and over. It was beautifully done and I wish Ubisoft would do a few more of these—either with Altair’s earlier years/Umar’s final days, as portrayed in The Secret Crusade or with some of the time with Ezio in between Brotherhood and Revelations.
Still my favorite couple of the series.
assassin’s creed: lineage
For those who are wondering about Assassin’s Creed Ascendance…
It is another Assassin’s Creed ‘short’, somewhat like Lineage and Embers. It has a sort of comic book-style animation to it and is mostly narrated by Leonardo da Vinci.
If you purchase a DVD/blu-ray copy of Assassin’s Creed Lineage, it comes with it, in the bonus features, along with a few other features.
I don’t want to give away too much, but as I said before, if you’re a Cesare Borgia fan in particular, you’ll likely enjoy it. :)
You can purchase Assassin’s Creed Lineage online, or your nearest Target, WalMart, GameStop, Best Buy or record/film store.
HOWEVER, I would recommend calling the stores first to see if they have it. 4 of the 5 stores I called/went to were sold out of their copies [due to Christmas] and the one that had it, didn’t know that they did.
